Field Service Inspection

OCTG Oilfield Services are specialists in field service inspection and operate in a multitude of locations globally inspecting clients’ equipment either on board or in the customers’ facility on shore.
With in-house Travel and Logistics teams, OCTG can mobilize personnel and equipment at short notice regardless of the project location.
Inspection criteria offered: TH Hill DS-1, Fearnley Procter NS2, API RP7G, API Spec 7 / 10424-1, API RP 5A5, API 5CT & Client/Third party criteria.

OCTG Oilfield Services have mobile Full-Length Ultrasonic Testing capabilities by way of in house designed and manufactured FLUT equipment capable of compliantly inspecting to TH Hill DS-1 FLUT1 and FLUT2 criteria.
FLUT is often called for when inspecting HDLS or Drill Pipe with a WT > 0.5” where EMI inspection is less effective at picking up indications.
Our FLUT equipment is compact and modular, making air freight shipment possible at short notice and at a low-cost point.

Our mobile machine shop capabilities include the following services:

Megabore Manual Lathe for thread repairs on API connections
Skye Hardbanding machine for removal of damaged hardbanding and application of Duraband NC and Tuffband NC hardbanding
Phosphating tank
Cold rolling
Mobile refacing units capable of refacing API, XT-57, GPDS and uGPDS connections

All equipment is fully mobile, and we can deploy the entire machine shop to any outpost region regardless of location
